SUMMARY:First Nations Version Psalms and Proverbs Council Gathering Aug 15-18
DESCRIPTION:Many have asked if we plan to translate the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament). After much prayer\, we have decided to do at least Psalms and Proverbs. InterVarsity Press has enthusiastically agreed to publish the finished work. \nA new Translation Council of 12 has been formed and is ready to move forward. InterVarsity Press has offered its facility in Chicago to launch the project with an in-person gathering.  This was very important for the New Testament translation to bond the council together and do the preliminary work needed to establish the key terms and more. \nWe are gathering 8 Council Members on August 15-18\, 2022 at InterVarsity Press Facility near Chicago.  4 Council Members will join us on Zoom at scheduled times. Also\, our consultant for the FNV New Testament will also gather with us along with his wife. \nTo gather everyone we need your help! We estimate that it will cost about $10\,000 for airfare\, hotel\, and meals. We are planning to gather together from August 15 – 18 2022! \nCLICK HERE TO DONATE TO OUR IN-PERSON GATHERING
