On August 5, 2025, the same day FNV Psalms and Proverbs was released, Terry Wildman signed a 10-year contract with InterVarsity Press to complete the remainder of the Old Testament.
To Be Published in Four Segments
The Old Testament will be published in four segments finishing with the complete Old and New Testaments.
1. Genesis through Joshua – Estimated Release date: Jan 2029
2. Judges through Esther – Estimated Release date: Fall of 2031
3. Major and Minor Prophets – Estimated Release date: End of 2033
4. Wisdom Books – Job, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs
Once the Wisdom Books are completed, they will not be published separately, the entire Bible will be published with an estimated release date of the spring of 2035.
We began translating Genesis through Joshua in August of 2025!
