Association of Theological Field Educators (ATFE) 2025 Biennial Consultation – St. Louis MO

Terry Wildman is scheduled to be a Plenary Speaker and Workshop Presenter at the 2025 Biennial Consultation of the Association of Theological Field Educators (ATFE). Terry will provide the Plenary message and a workshop on Thursday January 23rd.

Our committee developed a timely theme of “The Land Holds Memory” to address the value of context in field education. The plenary session topics will cover a variety of messages relating to how does the context hold memory, meaning, invitation, and sacred roots?

Plenary 1: Dr. Johnson is the Charles G. Adams Professor of African American Religious Studies and Professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard Divinity School.

Plenary 2: Terry Wildman (Thursday afternoon), editor of First Nations Version: An Indigenous Bible Translation of the New Testament

Plenary 3: Danielle Buhuro, author of Spiritual Care in an Age of #BlackLivesMatters (Friday morning)
